2 more baptisms!

Aww Mom... talking about Steve Branham was weird but it made me feel really good. The story about giving Bishop Eyre a blessing after his surgery when Steve and I were newly ordained elders is something I remember rather vividly.  In fact I told that story about 2 weeks ago with my companion as we were sharing our first blessing stories. So yes I remember it very well.
As for Elder Rice having a golf scholarship at UVU I did know that and was trying to get him to go back there so we could go to the same school, but hes not sure if he will have his scholarship by the time he gets home, and he says if he doesn't he will probably go to the U or something like that. So ya its crazy stuff, I guess we´ll see what happens... either way it´ll all be good. Today as you can see from the pics we played golf.   I remembered how bad I am at that game but oh well, it was still fun.
As for this past week it was a pretty good week.  We baptized 2; the older lady is named Gladys and the girl is Lucero. They are not related or anything but they are both really great people and it was kind of fun to go by yesterday after they received the holy ghost because elder Palmer commented on the noticeable difference in both of them.  I realized he was right.  Ive been here for a long time that I guess I have been getting used to these amazing experiences.  Its fun to have a new person notice these things and bring them to your attention. So ya we had a great week.
As for the lady with the dream, it turns out the husband talked with their pastor and now they keep dodging us  so that's a real bummer but Elder Palmer and I have both feel like it may not be now but they will some day come to the waters of baptism. So we still are trying to get a hold of them... but if not their records are in the area book and eventually other elders will go by and hopefully be able to teach them.
This past week I got a little sick.  Its been very hot out and I dont know if you remember but I sweat a lot and it turns out I wasnt drinking enough water on Tuesday and I ended up throwing up and then getting chills followed by coldness in my body which was weird because it was like 95 degrees that day.  It turned out I was a bit dehydrated, so I laid down and slept for 2 hours with a blanket (after a blessing from my comp) and when I got up and realized my entire bed was wet from my sweat. But I felt better so we went out and worked again. Ive been drinking a lot more water lately. So ya thats pretty much the deal of what happened this week.
hope everything is well up there, love you all

Another amazing week/ last temple trip

Hi family!
This last week was great! We baptized and we had a lot of success with lessions with members present--which is the best kind of lession we can have. We taught 19 lessions with member present then 28 other lessions. The only thing we were lacking were lessions to members but all in all it was a great week. I didn't write yesterday because we went to the temple today for the last time in my mission because they are closing the temple for cleaning and I'll be gone by the time it opens. I had a really great experience with the zone... probably one of the best spiritual times I've had at the temple ever. So that was really great today. The only hard thing was that it rained really hard and we got soaked and really cold but o well you just have to push on sometimes. Ha!... mom and dad you both received a bunch of compliments this past week. First of all we were at this investigators house and she had new investigator friends for us, so we showed our pics and they just went on and on about how pretty and young mom looks. Then later in the week Elder Calderon was talking about how he needs to lose weight and become muscular like dad. So I thought that was funny.
Other than that i gotta go because the temple took our entire day so we gotta go now. i love you all and hope everyone is doing well.

p.s. And as for school stuff I'm really not sure. I guess the business college would be good considering they give you money if you transfer to a university after, maybe look in Arizona too because I've been making a lot of friends who are going to Arizona colleges, so if there is anything there I could keep my options open for now. Thanks for the help mom.

3 baptisms this week and more on the way!

Ahhhh I love this country but there are things they need to work on... like getting better Internet places and transportation. OK so this last week was great, but your only going to hear a little bit of it and you'll have to wait till next week for pics because this computer place just doesn't want to accept my camera, and sorry if there are mistakes in this letter--I'm typing without anything coming on the screen so I guess we will see how good my typing skills are. So anyway, this past Sat we baptized 3! woo hoo! I'll send the pics next week. We also went to the temple right before with some of our investigators and it was great except for the part where we got there late and our ward missed their session so we had to wait another 2 hours for them which made us late for our baptism. So that was a little stressful but it turned out really great cuz we baptised and we got to be at the temple in the same day. I love it when things go like this. It just makes you want to stay in the mission forever. We taught pretty much everything to Lucio yesterday and he is way ready for baptism. I just love it! Then we found this other girl-- Maria who has been coming to church with this family but we didn't know she wasn't a member so we haven't been teaching her or anything. I cant remember if this happened last week or this week but anyway we took out a fecha with her for the 29th also! So yay! Its a pretty good life over here the Lord has been blessing us a lot and I'm way grateful for the blessings. Ha another thing is how the lord has been sending us so much food. The members have lunch and sometimes dinner for us every single day this month and its really starting to show on me. So tomorrow Elder Calderon and I are starting to run. Ha! So ya life is so great over here.
I pray for you all every day and I know the lord hears my prayers. I miss you all but i know that you're all OK... or are going to be OK. The lord sends us trials so we can be stronger. I am so grateful for this gospel in my life and that the lord can use me to declare it to his children here in Argentina.
I love you all so much.
