If i could shave my head [in support of his 3 yr old neice, Ashton, who is undergoing chemotherapy for cancer] I would but I cant however Ashton has all the prayers I can ever give her though and I hope she can feel the love that I have for her.
I am really sorry to hear about Toby, thats sad he was a really good dog, but im glad hes not suffering anymore.
As for this past week, it was interesting, yesterday when we were in the streets at about 4 oclock, we were startled to hear everyone in their houses just start screaming. Then the startled feelings quickly went away and we got very scared because we had to start dodging fireworks that people were celebrating with [Argentina won their next soccer game and they continue to advance to the World Cup finals]. We were able to find a member that doesnt like soccer and chilled with them until the game ended. This Saturday they are going to play Germany (whom, during the last World Cup they were eliminated by, so everyones looking for revenge) Its also going to be complicated because a lot of people look at me and my last name and ask if I'm German. So this week I will be telling lots of people how American I am....and since the USA is out of the runnings.... "Go Argentina!"
Yesterday I had to give another talk. I gave it on missionary work and how the members need to help the missionaries. I thought it went pretty well. The bishop came up to me afterwards and said that he thought that was just what the members needed--a talk like that. So I think it went pretty well.
This past week I got my flight plans and it said I was supposed to tell you everything about it but you knew before me so I dont think I need to repeat it. It also said to make sure we set up a time with the stake president so i can be released when i get home. Other than that, people keep telling how little time I have and I keep saying "yup", but it doesnt feel like im going home yet, its kinda wierd.
Hope everythings going well over there. I love you guys so much, and am praying for you every day.

p.s. btw the computer doesnt want to accept my camera so ill see if i can find another cyber. But today we went to La Plata and visited the largest catholic cathedral in South America. I took a bunch of pics to so I'll try to get those off soon.
p.s.s. And btw if you wanted me to buy soccer jerseys for everyone they cost about 15 dollars each. You can order them on ebay maybe for cheaper and probably better quality because these ones are all nockoffs. but ya about 15 each. Just let me know.
p.s.s.s Here is the last picture of the all of the missionaries with the Asay's. I got it off of Elder Jones' email he just sent.

5 min prep Sac mtg talk/ Argentina celebrates 200 yrs
I am so sorry to hear about Ashton, she is for sure in my prayers. and hey congrats on getting a new dog haha! [3 yr old Ashton had a lump the size of a cantelope removed from her abdomen this past week...she got a new puppy when she got home from her 3 day stay in the hospital]
First of all, sorry if this email is lacking a little, because the key board is terrible... the g´s get stuck and a couple other letters. I'm gunna try to go to a different place later on. But for now it'll just have to do. First of all an elder in my district who is from St George wants to know what part we are moving to. Second of all, did dads funding come in or no?
Ha! Yesterday we got to church and had our classes (we have classes before sac meeting) and when the second class ended the secretary in the area came up to me and asked me if I could give a 15 minutes talk in sac meeting. Sac mtg started in 5 mins and I was to be the first speaker. I said yes of course but I wasnt happy about it inside. I dont know if you guys remember how bad I was at giving talks at home but thats what I started thinking about when he asked me. As it turns out, I dont get as nervous anymore which is a big blessing. I gave a talk on trials, and used Mosiah 24 and D&C 121 and 122. It was a pretty good talk... kinda all over the place but not bad for only 5 mins of prep. So that was fun. As for this last week it was a rough one because Argentina celebrated its 200 aniversary, so there were a lot of drunks and crazy people.
Im gunna have to write you guys on a different computer this ones killing me.

Luis story, first talk in church in Spanish
Wow sounds like a lot is going on over there in the states and soon to be China. Congrats Dad and Brian on the business. And ya mom I would love to see engagement pics of my friends. Congrats to Brad and Kristin for moving the wedding date up. This past week was good. I found out a little about the life of Luis. To start off, we were at their house teaching lesson 2 and asked Luis to read a little paragraph. He read it a little slow but i thought it was fine. After he finished reading, the girl hes living with (not married yet...ya.. problem) laughed and said "Hey Luis when are you going to learn how to read?" Right away Elder Aponte and I started saying how he did a fine job reading it and stuff like that but shoot I couldn't believe she would say something like that in front of us and her whole family. So after the lesson Luis walked us to the bus stop cuz it was kinda late and that area isn't very safe at that time of night. So I decided to pry a little in his life. So I started asking him how long he knew and had been living with Samantha. He said for about 3 years. So I asked him why they didn't get married. He told me its cuz she didn't trust him because he didn't know his parents and because she didn't know if he would be a loving father (they already have a kid). When I heard that I couldnt believe it cuz he is seriously one of the greatest guys I've ever met. After that he began telling me about his life. How by the time he was five years old he lived in the streets of a city in Paraguay looking in dumpsters for food and looking for work. When he became a teenager got into drugs but quit when he was sixteen. He then lied about his age to join the army and said that was one of the best times of his life cuz they fed them so much. After that he moved here when he was 19, and found a job in construction working from 6 to 6 everyday except Sunday. He met Samantha and now they have a kid. Another reason they can't get married is because his papers are still in Paraguay (he cant get baptized until they get married and its extremely difficult to get papers from Paraguay, so everyone pray for that please). So ya I could hardly believe this poor guys life> Its a miracle the drugs, when he was so young, didn't mess him up. But ya hes great and he's grateful for everything.
In other news I gave my first talk in Spanish this past Sunday. It was about getting members to help the missionaries. I thought i did a good job.
Sorry no pics this week. Next week for sure.
love you all
